San Diego, CA – Fall festivities are just around the corner at Seaport Village, where locals are invited to join the festive fun at Seaport’s second annual Halloween Bash on the Bay on Saturday October 27 from 3:30 to 8 p.m. A week of deals and events leading up to the Halloween celebration will honor San Diego locals from October 20-27.

The second annual Halloween celebration invites all the little monsters, vampires, pirates and zombies out to the village for trick-or-treating, a pet costume contest, live music and photos with a living scarecrow. Entertainment will abound from 3:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. with trick-or-treating from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Locals Appreciation Week will precede the Halloween celebration with outstanding deals from Seaport Village’s shops and restaurants to say “thank you” to San Diegans and welcome them back after the busy tourist season.  All deals will be listed at http://www.facebook.com/SeaportVillage on October 19. Locals must show valid California ID or SDG&E bill to redeem the discounts and gifts.

“We are so very grateful for all the locals who visit us year-round and share Seaport Village with their guests,” said Terry Hall, Seaport Village General Manager. “The least we can do is take a week to thank them with great deals and fun events leading up to Halloween. Our Halloween Bash on the Bay was an incredible success last year and we look forward to welcoming families back to our more than 50 shops for trick-or-treating and entertainment again this year.”

Come early and catch the sunset while enjoying dinner at one of the 14 restaurants/eateries and stay late to trick-or-treat throughout the entire village. More than 50 shops will be giving out sweet treats, so bring your biggest candy sack.
