I recently planned my sister’s baby shower, and her theme is OWLS and forest as well!!! I have to say I am a bit jealous. I really love the owls and so I went with it and a little crazy if I might add. I love party planning and am very happy to share and please pin if you like
I love my Owl baby shower and I hope you do too!
We did a candy bar with chocolate dipped oreos and pretzel sticks, other yummy candy as well. I made all the super cute owl cupcakes!
Don’t you love the owls, I set them up on their side so they could look at you!!
Note: Cupcakes can be made and frosted ahead…But don’t put on the oreo’s and m&m’s till the day of!! The get soft and the m & m’s run! Booo hooo, but not too worry, everyone loved them anyways and they were sooo rich and good.
Chocolate on Chocolate cream cheese frosting.
The pom poms were made by me and are pretty easy but TIME CONSUMING!! So make them ahead of time and put them aside. CHerck out Martha Stewart for a tutorial !
I made Little Levi’s banner and I love it!! I used a circle cutter from micheal’s that changed sizes. I made the fingerprint tree, and left it blank with few started for everyone and the final product turned out great, I will add the pic soon!!
I made hard lotion bars in hearts for everyone to take home and they all wrote a nice “word of Wisdom for Mama to be!
I also wish the pics did the garland justice because I used the extra scrapbook paper and made little circles, sewed them together and hung them across the room as well. The shower was a hit and we had so much fun!
Here are the gifts I MADE for my sista…Yes, I made the mobile…I am tooting my horn a little, this was time consuming as well because they were all hand sewn…Does anyone need one too?? shoot me a email.. I was told I need to etsy these! I also made the owl pillow. Check out the tutorial here!
Hope you like my Owl Shower!!! Baby Levi is coming soon and I will be sure to share about that later too!
